What to know
Clek's product page for the Ozzi states that Ozzi has a 9 year expiration and lists a 9-Year Expiration Date among the seat's features. The Ozzi is Clek's other backless booster, sitting alongside the Olli, and both run the same 9-year clock from the date of manufacture. Backless boosters get passed between families and swapped between cars more than any other seat, so the manufacture date on the label is the first thing to check before accepting one. Boosters are not certified for aircraft use.
The date of manufacture is on the seat itself. The date of manufacture and serial number are on a label on the seat; the exact spot varies by model (Clek's support site has per-model guides for the Foonf, Fllo, Liing, and Oobr, typically on the back or underside of the shell).
Safety note: SeatCheck summarizes manufacturer and NHTSA guidance, but the label on your own seat and its manual are the final word. When in doubt, contact the manufacturer with your model and serial number.
